Villarreal confirms agreement with Arsenal over transfer of Gabriel Paulista

Arsenal have landed their second player of the winter transfer window, as Spanish side Villarreal announced Saturday that they have agreed to a deal over the permanent transfer of Brazilian center-back Gabriel Paulista.

Financial details were not disclosed, but it is reported by Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague that the Gunners will pay £15 million for the 24-year-old.
In addition, Villarreal confirmed that they will receive seldom-used striker Joel Campbell on a season-long loan as part of the deal.
