Yaya Toure's relationship with Manchester City grew more complicated Friday after the midfielder revealed a hesitance to commit to the club beyond the current season.

Following a controversial summer when Toure expressed his disappointment with the club's acknowledgment of his birthday, the relationship between the Ivorian and the team appeared to improve.

But now another storm of discontent has emerged after Toure's comments to CNN hinted at an exit from the Etihad Stadium.

"That's a big question and that's an easy question as well, and you have an easy answer ... we'll see," Toure said. "I don't know. I'm at City. City is a great club where I've achieved lots of things."

While his comments suggest Toure has doubts over his future in Manchester, his manager, Manuel Pellegrini, didn't share the same sentiments.

"I think Yaya is 100 percent committed with our team and with this team. I don't have any doubts about that," the Chilean boss told media ahead of his club's match against Arsenal, courtesy of ESPN.

Toure, who's currently with the Ivory Coast national team as they prepare to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, made up for his sluggish start to the season by finishing the calendar year with four goals in December.
