Carles Gil isn't moving from the Mestalla Stadium to Villa Park just yet.
According to the Guardian, Aston Villa's move for the Valencia attacking midfielder has been stalled as Gil's agents have increased their demands in the final stages of the deal.
However, Villa are apparently still confident of signing Gil, who flew into Birmingham on Monday, and are expected to sign him to a five-year contract.
Gil, 22, is yet another midfielder to have emerged from Valencia's academy, and he's notched one goal and one assist through eight La Liga appearances this season.
