Why always him?

Mario Balotelli is reportedly in hot water once again as a report from Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera claims that the Liverpool striker could be forced to pay up to €10,000 in speeding fines after racking up 18 separate offences between 2012 and 2013, one of which includes an incident where he was driving 200 kilometres per hour in a 130-kilometre zone.

Balotelli was apparently pulled over while driving a number of cars, including a black Audi R8, a Porsche Spyder and a rented red Ferrari.

His hearing into the unpaid fines was postponed on Wednesday, but Balotelli's defense team still insisted to the court that their client failed to receive the fines because he was living in England at the time and the Italian forces failed to notify the minutes of the violations.

The report follows a similar incident involving Borussia Dortmund phenom Marco Reus, who was reportedly hit with a €540,000 fine – believed to be the largest ever distributed by a German court for a driving offense – for repeatedly driving without a license.
