VIDEO: Simon Mignolet forgets boundaries of football pitch

This will do absolutely nothing to improve public opinion surrounding Simon Mignolet.

After starting Liverpool's Boxing Day fixture versus Burnley on the bench once again due to his horrid form this season, Mignolet was forced to enter the match in the 16th minute when Brad Jones fell victim to an apparent thigh injury.

Unfortunately for Mignolet, any chance to reclaim his starting role was likely lost in the 67th minute, when he bewilderingly allowed a back-pass to roll out of bounds despite having considerable time to clear the ball.
