Daniel Hemric: Third at Iowa

Hemric finished third in the Iowa 250 Xfinity Series race at Iowa Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Hemric would battle hard with Justin Allgaier for most of stage 2 of this event. The Richard Childress Racing driver would only lead 2 laps, but he'd stay among the Top 5 for most of the 250 laps. Hemric would go onto collect his seventh Top-5 finish of the season, and extend his current Top-10 streak to five events. The driver of the No. 21 Chevrolet remains third overall in the championship standings.
