Brendan Rodgers says Liverpool not considering any January transfers

The current Liverpool squad is responsible for the hole the club finds itself in, and manager Brendan Rodgers says those players alone will be responsible for getting the Reds out of it.

The bench boss says the club is not looking at signing any new players during the fast-approaching January transfer window, putting the emphasis solely on the team's current players to help rescue a Premier League season that has been nothing short of a disaster thus far.

"It (buying new players) is not something I am looking at," Rodgers was quoted as saying during his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Champions League match with Ludogorets. "After the weekend, the focus was not to dwell on that. We have to learn from that and try and get a result here (Ludogorets)."

Liverpool fell 3-1 to Crystal Palace this past weekend, dropping the Reds into 12th place in the EPL table, and a mere four points ahead of the relegation zone.
