Joey Logano: Runner-up Finish at Atlanta

Logano finished second in the Rinnai 250 Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Penske Racing star was really the only serious competition for Kevin Harvick Saturday at the Atlanta oval. Logano started on the outside pole and led the first 4 laps of the race. He would nab the point on three other occasions, but for just a handful of laps. The driver of the No. 22 Ford would fall into the clutches of Harvick for the final time of the day on lap 130 and would have to chase him to the finish for the second-place effort. It was Logano's first Top-5 finish of the season.
