Harry Redknapp takes veiled shot at Mario Balotelli for laughing at Manchester United

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has seemingly had a dig at Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, criticising the Italian for mocking Manchester United's 5-3 loss to Leicester City last Sunday.

Balotelli famously enjoyed seeing the Red Devils capitulate and blow a 3-1 lead en route to the humiliating loss, despite the fact that his side had suffered a defeat of their own the previous day.

Regardless, it was all in good fun from the controversial striker.

Redknapp, speaking ahead of his team's match with Southampton, apparently doesn't see it that way. The veteran bench boss, who once said that he didn't know how to send a text message, dismissed the possibility of ever venturing into the Twitterverse before apparently calling out Balotelli for his own social media presence.

"No chance. I don't even know what it is. I don't understand it," Redknapp said of the social media site.

"There's people whose teams just got smashed up and the next day they're commenting on other people's teams. And I'm thinking, hang on, you lost last night."

Harry Redknapp hates technology, and apparently he dislikes jokes as well.
