Redknapp says QPR midfielder Sandro suffered knee injury celebrating goal in training
Reuters
Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro is likely not too pleased with manager Harry Redknapp at the moment.
The Brazilian missed Saturday's 2-2 draw against Stoke City with a knee injury, and Tuesday, Redknapp revealed how the 25-year-old sustained the ailment. It's not the kind of thing you want getting out to the public.
"Sandro injured his knee after scoring a goal in training and sliding on the dry ground celebrating," Redknapp told talkSPORT, via the Daily Mail.
You're allowed to laugh.
Unless video of the painful, yet hilarious fail emerges, we will never know if Sandro's incident was on the same level as this:
In fairness to Sandro, he doesn't score many goals, so he might as well celebrate when he does. Even if they're meaningless.
