Report: Newcastle manager Pardew has 2 games to save job
Times are a-changing at Newcastle and that's not good news for manager Alan Pardew.
The Independent reports Pardew has the next two games, at Southampton and at home versus Hull City, to save his job after a change in mood within the club.
Newcastle is off to a winless start this season and following last year's fan protests aimed at Pardew and his handling of the Hatem Ben Arfa situation, who moved to Hull City before Monday's transfer window, owner Mike Ashley and the Magpies brain trust is beginning to plan for life after Pardew.
The 53-year-old made headlines for all of the wrong reasons last year, headbutting Hull's David Meyler and alienating the club's most talented player in Ben Arfa.
Though Ashley stood behind his manager following the Meyler incident, it appears time is running out for the Toon boss.
