Danny Welbeck: Subs on in Season Debut

Welbeck (knee) made his Premier League season-debut when he subbed on for Robin van Persie in the 63rd minute of Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Sunderland on Sunday.

Analysis:

Welbeck missed the season-opener with a knee injury, but he has returned to fitness enough to warrant some time off the bench. With no starting spot available to him as long as van Persie and Wayne Rooney are healthy, Welbeck has been the subject of numerous transfer rumors this summer, the most recent connecting him to Hull City. A move away would certainly increase his fantasy potential, as he just doesn't get enough consistent starts to warrant much investment in most fantasy leagues.
