Mesut Ozil: Won't Play in Opener
Ozil will be held out of Arsenal's Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on Saturday, as well as the Champions League opener at Besiktas on Tuesday, the Independent reports.
Analysis:
Ozil has just recently rejoined training after taking time off following Germany's World Cup victory. There is no injury to report here, and manager Arsene Wenger said he expects to have Ozil available to face Everton on Aug. 23.
