Pepe Reina's time with Liverpool is coming to an end.
With Simon Mignolet entrusted with the starting goalkeeping duties for the Merseyside giants, Reina went to Napoli on loan last season. The situation hasn't changed in one year, leading to the 31-year-old's departure from Anfield.
Reina is set to join Bayern Munich for a fee thought to be in the region of £2 million, according to The Times' Tony Barrett.
Bayern number one Manuel Neuer is arguably the best in the game, but behind him the there isn't much depth. Reina immediately becomes the team's No. 2 goalkeeper ahead of Tom Starke.
Reina made 285 appearances for Liverpool over eight seasons, helping the team capture the 2006 FA Cup.
