Petr Cech: Out 10 Weeks

Cech underwent successful surgery on his shoulder Wednesday and he will be out for the next eight to 10 weeks, The Guardian reports.

Analysis:

Cech suffered a separated shoulder in the first leg of Chelsea's Champions League semifinal tie with Atletico Madrid, and he has been replaced by Mark Schwarzer since then. The Czech Republic did not qualify for this year's World Cup, so Cech will have all summer to rehab.
