Andrea Belotti has quelled worries among Torino supporters by promising to return next season despite the avalanche of interest he's expected to attract when the summer transfer window opens.

Belotti has emerged as a target for some of Europe's biggest clubs thanks to an incredible scoring rate that's seen the 23-year-old soar up the leaders chart to claim top spot in Serie A with 22 goals.

But a move away from the Italian side will likely have to wait until 2018 after he pledged his future to the club in an apparent attempt to extinguish doubts over his devotion to Torino.

"Of course I am staying. I want to remain at Torino. In fact, I will stay at Torino next season," Belotti told Tuttosport, as translated by ESPNFC.

"Let the Granata fans know, I am definitely staying."

Belotti was targeted by Premier League outfit Arsenal in January, with Torino's sporting director confirming the club rejected a bid believed to be worth €65 million.

A month before Arsenal's alleged failure - which was not confirmed by the English team - Torino locked Belotti up to a new contract until 2021 with a buy-out clause for clubs outside Italy worth €100 million.
