Former Arsenal and Chelsea man Ashley Cole is currently living it up in Los Angeles with the LA Galaxy and says he has no regrets regarding his choices of career destinations.

In fact, Cole went so far as to admit the Gunners' failures bring him a bit of joy.

The 36-year-old left full-back admitted as much when speaking with ITV's "Play to the Whistle," when asked if he secretly enjoyed the fact that Arsenal hasn't won a Premier League title since his departure.

"If I'm honest, yeah, I still laugh to myself to this day," Cole answered, as quoted by the Telegraph. "I had a lot of history there and of course the way I left was maybe dodgy, but I think they showed me a lack of respect, too.

"I have to blame myself too. Perhaps I did things in the wrong way. But when I look back on it now I could blame a lot of parties and it's now 10 years ago."

Cole won two Premier League titles with Arsenal during his six-year tenure at the club, and Arsene Wenger's side has yet to add another in the decade since his Chelsea swap. The move caused quite a stir in 2006, but Cole says he doesn't look back with regret over his decision to leave the Gunners.

"No, I had a great time there and of course I miss the old players but I moved on and I won every trophy I could, so I wouldn't say I look back and regret it, no," Cole said.
