Liverpool could be without a trio of first-team regulars this weekend, with both Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge certain to miss out, and Roberto Firmino facing a race for fitness for Sunday's visit from Burnley.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp spoke to reporters Friday and confirmed that Firmino's participation was in doubt after the Brazilian picked up a knock during Liverpool's 3-1 victory over Arsenal the previous weekend.

"Unfortunately, Roberto Firmino has struggled a little bit. He felt something after the game and until now this week, he couldn't train. We need to wait a little bit more and then we will see," Klopp said, courtesy of the club's official website.

Klopp added that Henderson, who hasn't played since the Feb. 11 win over Tottenham, and Sturridge, who hasn't featured since the defeat at Hull City seven days prior, will not play Sunday. Henderson continues his recovery from a foot concern, while the oft-injured Sturridge is hampered by another hip injury, a similar ailment to two of his three previous campaigns.

Emre Can will likely continue to deputise for Henderson in the middle of a three-man midfield flanked by the tireless Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum.

If it's any consolation for the Reds' faithful, the Clarets are the Premier League's Jekyll and Hyde, boasting a stellar home record where they have collected 38 of their 40 points, with just two draws away from home in 13 fixtures and a dire minus-20 goal differential.
