Arsenal supporters might have thought they witnessed rock bottom with Tuesday's 5-1 beating at the hands of Bayern Munich. As it turns out, it may very well get worse before it gets better.

Now, it appears as if a trio of first-team regulars with contracts set to expire in 2018 could also be on the way out, with The Telegraph reporting that Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will all leave the club in the summer.

The Telegraph's report is at odds with one from the Mirror's Arsenal beat writer, John Cross, who alleges that Ozil has been offered a massive £280,000-a-week contract to stay at the club despite a recent string of poor displays and illnesses. Cross adds that the German World Cup winner has yet to decide his future amid mounting fears that he will force a move in the summer.

There are plenty of commonalities between the two reports, with speculation linking Sanchez with a near-certain Emirates exit on the heels of a training-ground bust-up that prompted his first-half benching in the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

The two reports also maintain that despite a stunning run of form in a central midfield role, winger-cum-middle-of-the-park metronome Oxlade-Chamberlain has not been offered a new deal, and will follow the attacking duo of Sanchez and Ozil as part of a massive summer exodus. The 23-year-old south coast-born reportedly is frustrated with his standing at the club in hope of garnering more first-team opportunities.

These moves appear tethered to manager Arsene Wenger's spell with the club, and with the Frenchman's contract set to expire amid reports of the tabling of a two-year extension by owner Stan Kroenke, it's unknown whether the trio would be buoyed by Wenger's presence, or motivated to leave because of it.
