Look: Arsenal's Elneny has left foot in protective boot after Sutton setback

It appears Arsenal's defensive midfield is hamstrung by injuries once more.
Mohamed Elneny was an enforced substitution during half-time of last Monday's 2-0 FA Cup win over fifth-tier Sutton United, and the early signs don't look good.
With instrumental veteran Santi Cazorla suffering yet another setback to his ankle earlier this week, snappiness in the tackle and possession retention in the midfield will likely be left to Granit Xhaka and Francis Coquelin as long as Elneny is on the sidelines.
Natural winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be considered, however, after putting in some decent appearances there against Chelsea and Hull City earlier in February.
