Chelsea completes Eduardo signing from Dinamo Zagreb
Chelsea added goalkeeper Eduardo to the fold Thursday, announcing the 33-year-old's arrival from Dinamo Zagreb on a one-year contract.
"Having the opportunity to come to the Premier League and to Chelsea, to such a big club, it is an easy decision to make," Eduardo told Chelsea's website.
"For me this is the best and the most difficult league and it is another level from where I have been until now. So it is a new challenge, at this moment I feel very good, so I am ready for this.
The Portuguese netminder spent two seasons in Croatia, where he appeared in a majority of Dinamo Zagreb's games over that time to help the club win back-to-back titles.
Playing time with Chelsea, however, will be hard to come by, with Thibaut Courtois expected to get the majority of starts under manager Antonio Conte.
