David Moyes isn't prepared to ease himself into his new job at Sunderland, and is already readying a raid on old employer Manchester United for Adnan Januzaj and Will Keane, reports The Northern Echo's Scott Wilson.

On the same day that his predecessor Sam Allardyce was unveiled to the media as England manager, the Black Cats' new gaffer is apparently pawing through the transfer market to strengthen his inherited ranks.

Keane and Januzaj were already at Old Trafford when Moyes assumed control in 2013, and the latter represents a rare bright spot of the Scot's ill-fated reign. The Belgian winger, 21, dazzled on the left under the watch of Moyes, and eventually inherited the No. 11 shirt from club great Ryan Giggs.

Things haven't been so smooth for Januzaj since, however. He fell out of favour under Moyes' successor Louis van Gaal, and spent a miserable loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last season.

Another signing that could quickly follow Moyes to Wearside is the permanent acquisition of Rubin Kazan's Yann M'Vila. The 26-year-old French midfielder spent the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Sunderland and missed just one league game.

Moyes has linked up with Sunderland for its preseason jaunt in France, and will man the technical area for the first time in a competitive outing at Manchester City on Aug. 13.
