Leave it to a player fresh off a doping ban to offer his thoughts on America's most famous prison, as Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho and his Liverpool teammates visited Alcatraz while in the U.S. for a preseason tour.

Taking in the surroundings of the famous island prison closed in 1963, Sakho asks Philippe Coutinho if he's scared, to which the midfield maestro responds, "No my friend. This is normal in Brazil."

Sakho also flexed his interviewing skills on gaffer Jurgen Klopp, who was characteristically ebullient when responding to the French international's line of questioning.

Sakho: "How long do you think you can live here?"

Klopp: "I don't have to think about it. You should think about it ... We are here because we want to leave Mama (Sakho) here."

Liverpool faces Chelsea on Thursday in Pasadena as part of the International Champions Cup ahead of a date with AC Milan on next Sunday in Santa Clara, Calif.
