Premier League fixtures 2016-17: Leicester begins title defence at Hull City

The unlikeliest of title defences will begin at the KC Stadium on Aug. 13 when Leicester City travels north to take on newly promoted Hull City in its first game since finishing the 2015-16 campaign as Premier League champion.

Yet the biggest clash of the new season's opening weekend will see Arsenal host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in an encounter between two sides that struggled to live up to expectations last term.

Meanwhile, a number of coaches will debut on the touchline with their respective teams during the curtain raiser: Jose Mourinho will begin his tenure at Manchester United against Bournemouth away from home, while Pep Guardiola makes his first Premier League appearance at the Etihad Stadium when Manchester City takes on Sunderland.

Chelsea's new boss Antonio Conte will also be unveiled to home fans during the District Line derby at Stamford Bridge against West Ham United.
