Oscar Garcia will reportedly not be returning to the Camp Nou.

According to Paul Taylor of the Nottingham Post, Garcia is said to have met with Josep Bartomeu, Barcelona's president, about the possibility of replacing Andoni Zubizarreta as the Blaugrana's sporting director. He apparently turned down the offer, however, telling the Catalan club that he wants to manage in England once again.

Garcia worked alongside the late Johan Cruyff at Barcelona before going on to manage Brighton & Hove Albion and Watford. He is currently employed by Red Bull Salzburg and is allegedly being targeted by Nottingham Forest, who is looking for a successor to Dougie Freedman, following a Championship season in which the Reds finished 16th in the standings.
