Tim Howard bids emotional farewell to Everton

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard received an emotional farewell following his final match for the Toffees, a 3-0 win over Norwich, calling it time on a 10-year career at Goodison Park.

The U.S. international icon received a standing ovation and a guard of honor after the final whistle, delivering a powerful speech with American flags on either side as he bid goodbye to his fans in England.

He departs from the Toffees after spending 10 seasons with the club, making 414 appearances and recording 133 clean sheets in league play.

Howard will now join the Colorado Rapids as a designated player, though Pablo Mastroeni's side have certainly held down the fort without him; the club has conceded the fewest number of goals thus far in the 2016 campaign with nine goals against over 12 matches.

The Rapids' positive play also have the team sitting first in the league with 24 points. Howard's signing will only bolster an already in-form team.
