Life after football offers players a chance to be a fan again.
But for a select few, like former Manchester United netminder Edwin van der Sar, it's a chance to revert back to being a football fanatic
The Dutch 'keeper was spotted in the stands watching his former club, Ajax, play a vital league match Wednesday, and promptly went nuts when the team scored one of two goals en route to beating SC Heerenveen.
The win brought Ajax level for the Eredivisie lead, as the capital-city team attempts to capture its fifth league title in the last six seasons.
