Diego Alves, Philippe Coutinho, and Kaka are all returning to Brazil's national team.

Dunga announced the 23-man squad for Brazil's two upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers at Thursday's press conference in Rio de Janeiro. The Selecao will welcome Uruguay at Arena Pernambuco on March 25, and will then travel to Paraguay for a qualifier at Estadio Defensores del Chaco on March 29.

Highlighted by the inclusion of Alves, Coutinho, and Kaka, Brazil's squad also features two players who recently moved to the Chinese Super League in Gil and Renato Augusto. The centre-back joined Shandong Luneng Taishan while the influential playmaker joined Beijing Guoan from Sao Paulo for a reported €8 million.

Of course, Brazil's usual suspects are also included in the squad: Neymar and Dani Alves will cross the Atlantic Ocean to represent their homeland along with David Luiz, Miranda, Marquinhos, Danilo, Filipe Luis, Alex Sandro, Luiz Gustavo, Fernandinho, Oscar, Willian, Douglas Costa, and Hulk.

Regarding those who didn't make the cut, Jefferson of Botafogo - Brazil's first-choice 'keeper in October - was omitted from the squad, while Jonas of Benfica wasn't called up despite tallying 26 goals through 24 appearances in the Primeira Liga.

Through four matchdays, Brazil sits third in South America's standings for 2018 World Cup qualifying. The Selecao kicked off its adventure with a 2-0 defeat in Chile that triggered immediate panic, but has since partially redeemed itself with a 3-1 victory at home to Venezuela, a 1-1 draw against Argentina in the Superclasico de las Americas, and a 3-0 beating of Peru.

Here's a complete list of the 23 players called up by Dunga:
