Loic Remy: Scores as substitute versus Leicester
Remy appeared as a 65th minute substitute and scored on his only shot in Monday's 2-1 loss to Leicester City.
Analysis:
The Frenchman came on as Chelsea went into desperation mode after going down 2-0, and he buried a header from close range to pull the Blues back into the game. Although Remy has struggled for consistent playing time this season, Monday's goal puts him just one behind Diego Costa, who had another miserable outing. Manager Jose Mourinho could eventually try to shake things up if the team continues to underperform, but the club will likely bring in reinforcements via the upcoming transfer window, rather than turning to Remy as the solution. As such, he should once again be on the bench to start Saturday's match versus Sunderland.
