Updated Champions League odds: Oddsmakers like draw for Bayern Munich, Juventus

Champions League odds have been updated following Friday's draw for the quarterfinals in Nyon, Switzerland.

FC Porto's path to the quarterfinals likely had many opponents feeling anxious about being paired with the Portuguese outfit when Friday's draw was announced. Yet Bayern Munich's cast of elite players should cancel out Porto's strength and pace. As long as the 2013 European champions avoid another slow start in the first leg, Bayern should comfortably progress to the semifinals, and that's reflected in the bump in their odds.

Few teams will make the mistake of considering a draw with Monaco as a favourable one, especially after their two-legged triumph over Arsenal. Juventus will be fully aware of the threat Monaco poses and have ample time to prepare for the French club. Juventus' quality on attack should overwhelm the Ligue 1 side, as Monaco's defensive reputation outshines its mediocre attacking style. Don't expect a high-scoring affair when the two legs conclude.

Real Madrid's struggles against their local rivals could hit an all-time low if they can't regain the early-season form that helped them become one of the highest scoring teams in Europe. They've suffered a dreadful run against Atletico Madrid since their Champions League final victory, failing to register a win in six matches this season, and that's led to a drop in their odds. Los Blancos, however, are fully capable of overcoming their scoring woes, especially with the trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema up front.

Below are the odds for each team remaining in the competition to be crowned victorious in Berlin on June 6.

Team Line
Bayern Munich 7/4
Barcelona 5/2
Real Madrid 4/1
Juventus 6/1
Atletico Madrid 15/1
Paris Saint-Germain 20/1
AS Monaco 60/1
FC Porto 60/1

The first legs of the next stage are scheduled for April 14 and 15, while the return fixtures will be played April 21 and 22.
