Greek newspaper attacks referee after United match: 'A Dutch lowlife robbed Olympiakos'

Many people - including the most ardent supporters of Manchester United's rivals - couldn't help but feel some sort of compassion for David Moyes after his club came away with a 3-0 victory over Olympiakos on Wednesday, overturning a 2-0 deficit from the first leg and qualifying for the next round of the Champions League.

After everything Moyes has gone through during a tumultuous first season at Old Trafford, it was only fair that he was allowed at least one night of joy.

Not everybody was in such a good mood, though.

Greek newspaper Gavros felt United benefited from some questionable refereeing decisions, and didn't hold back in an attack on Dutch official Bjorn Kuipers.

Per 101 Great Goals, the paper went with the following headline on Thursday: 'A Dutch lowlife robbed Olympiacos.'

All the bitterness.
