Drogba reacts to Champions league draw that pits Galatasaray against Chelsea

Among the potential subplots heading into Monday's draw for the round of 16 was the possibility of Didier Drogba going up against Chelsea, a club with which he enjoyed immense success.

The Ivorian star got his wish.

"What a draw... I'm the luckiest man in this competition. In both games I'll be playing home!!!!! See you in few months," Drogba said in an Instagram post.

Drogba spent eight years with the Blues and recorded 100 goals in 226 appearances.

He helped Chelsea win the league three times, raised the Champions League trophy in 2012 and won four FA Cups. Needless to stay Drogba's in for quite the ovation when he returns to Stamford Bridge in March.
