Morata still wanted by English clubs despite Real return, says agent
Alvaro Morata's return to Real Madrid from Juventus may not scupper a potential deal to the Premier League, says the striker's agent, Juanma Lopez.
The Spaniard's name has been linked with a host of English giants this summer including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United, but Real Madrid triggered a buyback clause of around €30 million, which appeared to close the door on a transfer.
According to Morata's representative, though, a move could potentially be brokered - for an inflated fee.
"He still has offers from top clubs in the Premier League," Lopez insisted to AS.
"We'll see, we have to talk to (Real Madrid manager Zinedine) Zidane," he added. "But for the moment Morata is happy. Whether he'll stay or not, you have to ask Real Madrid. But as things stand he's a Madrid player from 1 July."
Morata has taken his goal-scoring exploits onto the international stage this summer with Spain, scoring three goals in as many games to book a Euro 2016 Round of 16 meeting with Italy.
