Lions: David Braley's condition 'has improved'

The BC Lions have released a statement regarding the health of owner David Braley after he was admitted to a Vancouver hospital earlier this week.

“Mr. Braley’s condition has improved notably over the past two days," the team said. "He is still in hospital at this time and will likely remain there until midweek.”

On Thursday, the team said Braley was "feeling a little under the weather," though it's not completely clear what his illness is.

The Lions added that they will not comment any further over the Easter weekend.

Braley has owned the team since 1997. He also owned the Toronto Argonauts from 2010-2015, and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 1987-1990.
