The Edmonton Eskimos have signed coveted free-agent slotback Chris Getzlaf, the team announced Thursday.
Getzlaf comes over from the Saskatchewan Roughriders, where he served since 2008. He was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2007 before being traded.
Last season, he recorded 33 receptions for 402 yards and four touchdowns over 10 games. In his career, he's racked up 5,694 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns on 368 catches.
Getzlaf is also a two-time West All-Star, and was named the Most Valuable Canadian in his team's 2013 Grey Cup win.
