Argonauts-RedBlacks clash in Eastern showdown
The Toronto Argonauts and Ottawa RedBlacks clash Tuesday night at TD Place in a critical East Division showdown.
The Argos (7-5), are coming off a bye, and with a win will move ahead of the RedBlacks (8-5) into second place in the East.
The most recent matchup between the teams came in Week 14, with the Argos coming away with a 35-26 win. A win tonight will give Toronto a sweep of the season series.
Ottawa quarterback Henry Burris heads into the game with a hot hand, coming off a 45-for-53, 504-yard, two-touchdown performance in a Week 15 victory over the Montreal Alouettes.
The matchup features one odd circumstance: despite being played in Ottawa, Toronto will be the home team. The game was relocated because the Rogers Centre - also home of the Toronto Blue Jays - is set to host Game 1 of the American League Division Series on Thursday afternoon.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
