Argos look to solidify East Division lead against Tiger-Cats

The Toronto Argonauts are one of the CFL's most surprising stories this season, currently holding the top spot in the East Division and looking to build on it against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Monday.

The Argos have been nomadic all season, facing only West Division opponents on the road, and going 3-1. Quarterback Trevor Harris is 104-for-139 on the campaign, good for 1,177 passing yards. He remains flooded with offensive options, like wide receivers Chad Owens and Kevin Elliott, and running back Brandon Whitaker.

The 2-2 Ticats host at Tim Hortons Field for the first time this season, coming off a come-from-behind win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Week 5. Kicker Justin Medlock remains perfect on point-after conversions, going 9-for-9 from the newly designated 32-yard line, while making 12 of 14 field goals for a league-leading 47 kicking points.

With a win, the Ticats can contest for the East Division lead, while a Boatmen victory will give Toronto some leeway, one step ahead of the Montreal Alouettes. The game gets underway at 7 p.m. ET Monday.
