The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added to their quarterback depth, signing undrafted Canadian Jordan Yantz on Tuesday.
Yantz spent the past two seasons with the University of Manitoba. In six games in 2014, he registered 111 completions for 1,619 yards and 10 touchdowns. Yantz also has a decent running game, compiling 35 carries for 242 yards and six touchdowns in the same season.
"Jordan is going to come in and compete for a spot on our roster at quarterback," Bombers general manager Kyle Walters said. "We feel he has shown all the tools needed to play this position at the professional level, and we look forward to watching him compete in camp."
