John Hufnagel: Bo Levi Mitchell is 'confident'; Glenn Love to miss Grey Cup
It's all about Bo.
Calgary Stampeders coach John Hufnagel was given another opportunity to tell the media about quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell ahead of the 102nd Grey Cup on Sunday when a reporter asked the coach for his opinion of the quarterback.
The reporter had previously spoken with Calgary linebacker Juwan Simpson, who said that Mitchell was one of the most arrogant rookies he had ever come across in camp, and wanted to know if Hufnagel echoed Simpson's sentiments.
"Confident, yes. I take exception to the word arrogant," said the head coach. "I thought Bo was a confident player. He had success in his previous life before he became a Stampeder, and because of that success he built around being confident in that position."
Although Calgary is heavily favored to win on Sunday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' defense will seriously test Mitchell's in-game confidence.
Hufnagel also told the media that linebacker Glenn Love won't be available for the Grey Cup.
