CFL Game Summary - Winnipeg at Saskatchewan
Regina, SK (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthony Allen ran for a go-ahead 15-yard touchdown with 28 seconds remaining to lift the Saskatchewan Roughriders past the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 35-30, on Sunday afternoon.
Allen's TD scamper came after Lirim Hajrullahu drilled a 41-yard field goal to give Winnipeg a 30-28 edge with 2:58 to play.
Saskatchewan won the thriller despite blowing a 14-point lead in the second half.
Darian Durant was 14-of-26 for 204 yards and a touchdown to go with 28 yards on the ground, while Allen ran for a pair of scores for the Roughriders, who have won six straight games.
Nic Grigsby carried the ball 15 times for 68 yards and a score, Drew Willy completed 15-of-23 passes for 171 yards with an interception and Nick Moore caught six passes for 90 yards for Winnipeg, which has dropped three of its last four games.
Allen's 3-yard TD plunge staked the Roughriders to a 21-7 cushion midway through the third before Winnipeg scored 20 unanswered points.
Willy scampered for a touchdown from 11 yards out on Winnipeg's ensuing sequence and Troy Stoudemire returned a punt 64 yards for a score to tie the game late in the third.
Hajrullahu booted through field goals of 33 and 46 yards, respectively, before Durant hit Taj Smith for a 59-yard score to put Saskatchewan back in front, 28-27, with 5:33 to go.
Earlier, Grigsby's six-yard TD run opened the scoring. A pair of singles and a safety preceded Will Ford's 5-yard TD plunge for an 11-7 Saskatchewan lead just past the midway point of the second.
Chris Milo split the uprights from 17 yards out to give the Roughriders a 14-7 spread at the break.
