Shamawd Chambers is returning to the Edmonton Eskimos, after the club announced Thursday that they have signed the wide receiver to a two-year deal.
Chambers starred for the Eskimos from 2012-15, winning Most Valuable Canadian in the club's Grey Cup victory in 2015.
The Markham, Ont., native followed head coach Chris Jones to the Saskatchewan Roughriders last season, catching 25 passes for 269 yards and one touchdown. He was released by the team in late January.
