Argonauts release veteran Keon Raymond

The Toronto Argonauts have parted ways with nine-year CFL veteran linebacker Keon Raymond, the team announced Thursday.
The 33-year-old sits second on the team in tackles in 2016 with 34, along with two interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and a sack. Raymond arrived in Toronto prior to the 2016 season after signing as a free agent in February.
Raymond spent the first eight years of his career with the Calgary Stampeders, hauling in 26 interceptions and eight touchdowns.
