Tiger-Cats look to get back on track vs. lowly Roughriders

As they look to rebound from a loss in Zach Collaros' season debut, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will welcome the hapless, and perhaps hopeless, Saskatchewan Roughriders to town Saturday.

The Ti-Cats enter action with a 3-4 record, one week after Collaros, their star quarterback, returned from an ACL injury. He was instantly clobbered and strip-sacked on his first dropback of the game against the BC Lions, and later threw an interception, but he looked strong otherwise and finished 24-of-40 for 331 yards, two touchdowns, and the one pick.

The picture isn't as bright for Saskatchewan. The Roughriders have won just once all season, and are inching closer to rock bottom by the day, if they haven't hit it already.

Chris Jones' team is fresh off falling to the Calgary Stampeders for the second straight week, where afterward he apparently told his coaching counterpart, John Hufnagel, to "win with some class."

It was Jones' team, though, that was hit with a hefty fine by the CFL days earlier for practicing with ineligible players, and fined again a day after the contest for allowing players to stand on the midfield logo during pregame introductions.

The one bright spot for Saskatchewan might be quarterback Darian Durant, who has seven touchdowns and zero interceptions this season, though injuries have forced Mitchell Gale to play more than the Riders would've wanted.

Beyond the quarterbacks, players to watch in this one might be Hamilton defensive linemen John Chick and Ted Laurent, who have combined for nine sacks in seven games.
