The Saskatchewan Roughriders brought Brandon Bridge in for a workout, Monday, according to Farhan Lalji of TSN.
Bridge was released by the Montreal Alouettes on Aug. 1 after seeing limited play in four games this year and was primarily used in short-yardage situations, rushing for two touchdowns.
The 24-year-old appeared in 15 games last season, starting in one, and recorded 282 yards and two touchdowns.
The Roughriders have four quarterbacks already on their roster, plus B.J. Coleman and Jake Waters on the six-game injured list.
Saskatchewan sits last in the West Division with a 1-5 record and hosts the first-place Stampeders on Saturday evening.
