Montreal Alouettes veteran quarterback Kevin Glenn has been absent from two team practices due to inflammation in his left eye.
Alouettes general manager and head coach Jim Popp stated that Glenn's condition is improving after being placed on antibiotics to treat the inflammation, according to Herb Zurkowsky of The Montreal Gazette.
Backup Rakeem Cato has been practicing with the starting offence in case Glenn is unable to play in their matchup Friday against the visiting Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The 37-year-old Glenn was expected at practice Monday, but was withheld to protect his eye from the sun. Popp expects Glenn to practice Tuesday.
