Trevor Harris looks to continue the electric start to his Ottawa RedBlacks career Friday when the club hosts the Calgary Stampeders.

The CFL's top passer came on after Henry Burris was injured in the third quarter of Week 1, and has racked up 687 yards passing and six touchdowns in just over five quarters of work.

The results of Harris' sparkling play has been a 2-0 start to the season for the RedBlacks, with both wins coming away from the friendly confines of TD Place. That changes in Friday's matchup with the visiting Stampeders, who are coming off an impressive 36-22 win last week over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Bo Levi Mitchell rebounded from a mediocre Week 1 performance against the BC Lions, throwing for 309 yards and two scores against Winnipeg, while Jerome Messam showed he still has the potential to be a dominant back, rushing for 137 yards on just 16 carries.

The Stampeders defence has been stout all season, allowing just 42 points combined in two games, but will have to be at its best to slow down the juggernaut that is the RedBlacks attack. Harris' excellence has the club sitting first in the league in passing yards and passing touchdowns, while also tops with an incredible 73 points through two games, 19 better than the second-place Stampeders.

Chris Williams and Brad Sinopoli form a formidable, two-headed receiving monster, sitting first and second in the league with 363 and 189 yards, respectively.

Calgary played well in its only trip to Ottawa last season, but squandered a late lead in the fourth quarter, eventually falling 29-26 in overtime.
