LINZ, Austria (AP) Camila Giorgi defeated fellow Italian Karin Knapp 6-4, 6-2 Saturday to reach the final of the Generali Ladies.
Chasing her first career title, Giorgi will play either the seventh-seeded Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic or Anna-Lena Friedsam of Germany in Sunday's final.
The 42nd-ranked Giorgi, who hasn't dropped a set in the tournament, will go into her second final of the season after losing to Alize Cornet in Katowice, Poland in April.
Giorgi broke Knapp in the third game to take the opening set. She dropped serve early in the second but won six straight games from 2-0 down to close out the win.
