New documentary follows David Arquette's return to wrestling
David Arquette's wrestling career is the subject of an upcoming documentary.
Releasing this month, "You Cannot Kill David Arquette" follows the 48-year-old Arquette as he attempts to make a comeback in professional wrestling. It features appearances by his sisters Patricia and Rosanna Arquette, ex-wife Courtney Cox, Ric Flair, Diamond Dallas Page, and others.
"It's a revealing and vulnerable documentary, and I let people into my life," Arquette told Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times. "It captured my life at this point where a lot of things were coming to a head. I had this pattern of beating myself up for years. ... I was doing stuff that could kill me ... but I feel better now, like I figured a lot of stuff out."
Arquette - known for his roles in the "Scream" franchise and the wrestling comedy "Ready to Rumble" - briefly held the WCW World Heavyweight title in 2000 and made an appearance on a 2010 episode of WWE Raw. He announced his return to wrestling in 2018.
