Most sporting events are on hiatus, but Vince McMahon and the WWE are marching forward.

WrestleMania 36 will take place April 4-5 at the WWE Performance Center without fans. Here are the betting lines and picks for the promotion's biggest card of the year.

Randy Orton (+225) vs. Edge (-350)

Orton's matches can be tough to predict, so there's some value with him at +225. Still, it's hard to see Edge losing after his surprise return at Royal Rumble. This storyline has felt rushed and forced at times, but Edge should close it out with a victory in his first WrestleMania appearance since 2011.

Pick: Edge -350

Becky Lynch (+120) vs. Shayna Baszler (-160)

Lynch isn't usually an underdog, but everything the WWE's done over the last few months suggests Baszler is set to receive a huge push. While popular wrestlers like Lynch don't always need to have a belt, championships help newer stars like Baszler get over with fans. In what promises to be one of the most entertaining matches of the night, the lean here is Baszler becoming the new Raw Women's Champion.

Pick: Baszler -160

Brock Lesnar (+225) vs. Drew McIntyre (-350)

The dominant Lesnar is entering WrestleMania as an underdog for the third year in a row. The WWE Champion lost to Seth Rollins last year but cashed an easy win over Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34. The victory over Reigns was a surprise because most believed Lesnar would drop the belt that night. However, McMahon changed the ending at the last minute, as he's been known to do for big events.

At first glance, we have a similar situation here, with the expectation being McIntyre will win his first WWE title. But when other respected wrestlers like Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston finally won championships, they got to share their moment with fans. That obviously wouldn't happen this time - as the event is being held in the empty performance center - so look for Lesnar to retain his title as the WWE saves McIntyre's big moment for a later date.

Pick: Lesnar +225

Goldberg (+550) vs. Roman Reigns (-1000)

There's not much to say here. As the odds suggest, Reigns is expected to defeat Goldberg for the Universal Championship and any other outcome would be shocking. Goldberg is a part-time wrestler, and those guys have short title runs. Look for the trend to continue as Reigns wins the battle of the spears.

Pick: Reigns -1000

Note: After this article was published, it was announced that Reigns will not be participating due to coronavirus concerns.

Charlotte Flair (+145) vs. Rhea Ripley (-190)

Try to find something in life you love as much as the McMahon family loves Charlotte Flair. I'll always bet Flair as an underdog in big matches. The WWE wants to push Baszler and Ripley, but I'd be surprised if Lynch and Flair both lose on the same night. Look for Charlotte to win somehow, propelling this feud into the summer.

Pick: Flair +145

Kevin Owens (-120) vs. Seth Rollins (-120)

The odds are even for this bout, which makes sense, as the WWE can go in a lot of directions here. Owens could use a high-profile win more, but it's hard to bet against Rollins on a big stage like WrestleMania. The lean is Rollins getting the victory with help from the AOP.

Pick: Rollins -120

John Cena (+300) vs. The Fiend (-500)

Many WWE fans weren't happy when The Fiend lost the Universal Championship to Goldberg. If he loses again to a part-timer like Cena, they may riot. Cena is one of the most respected wrestlers of all time, and he's more than happy to help get other guys over the top at this stage of his career. Cena defeated Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30, but The Fiend will even the score on Sunday.

Pick: The Fiend -500

AJ Styles (+275) vs. The Undertaker (-450)

On paper, The Undertaker is the easy choice, but like Cena, he's respected in the locker room and doesn't mind putting other wrestlers over. That means there's some value here with Styles.

However, my son guarantees The Undertaker will win because Styles brought the Deadman's wife, Michelle McCool, into the storyline. It's hard to go against someone who dressed up as The Undertaker for Halloween and plans to play the "Funeral March" at his wedding. Styles will rest in peace.

Pick: The Undertaker -450
