Report: Chris Hemsworth to star as Hulk Hogan in biopic

Chris Hemsworth has been tapped to play Hulk Hogan in a biopic about the wrestling legend, according to Borys Kit of the Hollywood Reporter.
The project is reportedly in the closing stages of negotiations with Netflix.
The film will be directed by Todd Phillips and written by Scott Silver, according to Kit. The pair also worked together on the upcoming DC Comics movie "The Joker."
Meanwhile, Phillips and Hemsworth will co-produce alongside Academy Award winner Michael Sugar, Bradley Cooper, and Eric Bischoff.
Sources told Kit that the film will focus on the rise and origin of Hogan and Hulkamania.
